The Surface of Water Brooch

£1,700.00

The Surface of Water Brooch is defined by a rippled surface texture and scattered gold detail.

Crafted in sterling silver, the form is engraved with a series of concentric ripples, creating movement across the circular surface. 24ct gold is fused onto the texture using the ancient Korean technique of keum boo, sitting across the silver like droplets on water. The polished outer edge frames the form and catches the light as it is worn.

The design reflects the idea that even in still moments, movement continues beneath the surface. Like water disturbed by a single drop, small actions can expand outward and shape what follows.

Made from sterling silver and 24ct gold, the brooch is fitted with a secure double stainless steel pin fitting.

Handmade in Glasgow.
