The Interlace Brooch is defined by an intricate dotted surface pattern in 24ct gold and 18ct green gold.
Crafted in sterling silver, fine dotted lines of gold move across the circular surface, individually fused by hand using the ancient Korean technique of keum boo. The paths weave and intersect, building a layered pattern across the brooch. The contrast between rich gold tones and silver gives depth and movement to the form.
The design reflects the paths we take through life. Each line suggests a different journey, with routes that overlap, diverge and reconnect over time.
