The design is inspired by the book of the same name by Kazou Ishiguro. The earrings tell the story of Klara’s reverence for the sun. In the novel Klara sees the sun as a source of life and renewal, much like how I view the torus shape in my designs - a symbol of the continuous cycle of life and journeys.
